Dear Distance Education Student,
Our records indicate that you were unable to complete a distance education course that you enrolled in during the Fall semester 2008.
Los Angeles Mission College is conducting a survey to investigate the reasons why students were unable to finish online courses at our college last semester. The survey consists of 13 questions with 40 separate items ranging from very specific factual questions to open-ended questions concerning advice you would give to other online students.
Please click on this link to the survey:

Your response to this survey is extremely important to our distance education program and to the California Community Colleges system-wide. Our goal is to improve and strengthen our efforts for students who prefer to pursue their education over the Internet due to time and location constraints of a traditional classroom setting. Our aim is to make online education a convenient opportunity for self-motivated students to continue their education. Your feedback will be tremendously useful as we plan for future semesters.
I want to personally thank you in advance for completing the survey by
February 27, 2009. If you have any questions, please contact me at (818) 364-xxxx.
Sincerely,
David Jordan
Distance Education Coordinator
Los Angeles Mission College
