Minutes of 6-23-06

1. We discussed Accreditation Self-Study Standard 2-A questions - and provided some responses - see Accreditation self-study Standard 11-A
2. We discussed that DDL should propose more student training and orientation in online educaton and etudes ng as our course management platform
3. We need to "market" the new Application to Teach Online steps and procedures at the first Council of Instruction - in August and at Flex Day
4. Also Said suggested that a box be placed on the Curriculum Form to teach an online class as a check off box "DDL Chair has been informed that the class will be taught online - and anticipated dates
5. We decided to have no further "Meet and Confer" meetings of the DDL from 6-23 until the beginning of Fall, and our next scheduled "Meet and Confer" is scheduled for - Friday - 9/15/06 at 8 am, and 9/29/06 at 8 am. More details and agendas to follow to Committee members at the start of the Fall 2006 Semester.
