DE AGenda 1st Meeting - Fall 2009

DE covered the following items:

1. Tentative meeting dates for remainder of semester: 2nd Weds. of month except Nov. meeting at 2 pm in VPAA Conference Room. Those dates are 10/14, 11/18 (3rd Weds), and 12/9. 

2. We reviewed "Absence Policy" edited it, and recommend that it become Mission College Distance Education Policy, and that it be forwarded to EPC for review, comments, and approval. See attached policy.

3. Contact Oliva Sanchez and ask her to post in Mission News and email all faculty the information on the Videoconference training on 10-16 on Accessibility Issues 

4. We reviewed updated "draft" of DE Course Approval Form, Said will make changes and bring it back to DE, and will discuss with Curriculum Committee.

5. Items #2 - EPC Recommendations of 6-22-09, #4 Review 5-20, and last meeting of DE Stakeholders meeting of 9-18, and #5 Misc. Items were tabled until next meeting.
