1. Other College's Applications to Teach Online

Said had received copies of the other college's Applications to Teach Online in the District Academic Senate meeting last Friday, and discussed it with Paul. Said gave his copies to David, and the item was tabled to be discussed more in depth at a future meeting.

2. Discussed DE Program Review

Said told the Committee that EPC has scheduled us to present our Program Review on June 1st.

We agreed to continue meeting every two weeks, on 5/13/09 and 5/27/09 at 1:30 - 2:45 pm in officce of VPAA to complete the Program Review.

David will contact Maury to provide the necessary data including enrollment trends, student success, etc. we need for Program Review.

Program review will include strenghts, challenges, etc. of the normal Department Program Review. the Program Review should address quality of our DE classes, Course Management Support, faculty evaluation process, Shell Review Process, DE Procedures and Policies.   

3. District Academic Senate meeting of May 8th with DE Stakeholders

Paul informed the committee of the May 8th DE Stakeholders meeting with the District Academic Senate and he will keep the committee informed of any action items the DE Committee might have to take in response to the meeting.
